About us

Background

Creation of the “Thin BlueLine Virginia” PAC was born from the professional experiences of its founder and president, Brian “Lucky” Luciano. As a 27 year veteran of the Virginia Beach Police Department, and the leading voice of the Virginia Beach Police Benevolent Association, Officer Luciano experienced first hand the negative effects on police officers and communities when elected officials put politics ahead of public safety.

Tired of seeing politicians and law makers create and excuse a climate of lawlessness and victimization, it became clear that more needed to be done to fund and endorse candidates who support law and order, and put the needs of victims ahead of those of the criminal.

Thus, “Thin BlueLine Virginia” was founded.

Purpose

The PAC’s purpose is to support worthy candidates for state and local office who pledge, or have demonstrated, their commitment to law and order, protecting our commonwealth and communities, supporting victims, and backing the efforts of law enforcement.

Goals

Campaign Involvement:

  1. Thin BlueLine Virginia” is registered as a corporation with the Commonwealth of Virginia SCC, as well as being registered with the Virginia Department of Elections as a state wide PAC.
This allows the PAC to operate across the commonwealth at the local and state levels.
  2. After consultation with the board, the PAC will strategically target races for funding, with the goal of assisting the endorsed candidate(s) to victory.
  3. The PAC will focus on candidates for local office to include Mayor, Council members, and Commonwealth Attorney. At the State level the PAC will focus on Delegate, State Senate, Attorney General, Lieutenant Governor, and Governor.
  4. Thin BlueLine Virginia” will contribute financial support directly to the campaigns of its endorsed candidates. Additionally, it will provide support via other means such as involvement in social media, and traditional media.
